What You Missed During the 2017 Men's Golf U.S. Open

What You Missed...

Nothing goes hand in hand more than golf and cigars. Smoke a cigar at home while watching golf or light up a cigar on the course; either way, you?re in for a relaxing event. Hopefully this past weekend was filled with lots of both of the two considering the major golf event on television, the men?s U.S. Open.

It was a close match until the last few holes on the final day. Brooks Koepka was in the lead with four others just a few strokes behind as it looked like he was liable to break the U.S. Open record of sixteen under par which was set by Rory McIlroy in 2011. However, he remained at sixteen under par through the last hole while the possibility of any contenders catching up to him dwindled. Brian Harman and Hideki Matsuyama finished the tournament out each at twelve under par with Tommy Fleetwood finishing in a close fourth at eleven under par. Tied for fifth at ten under par were Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele, and Bill Haas. The tight grouping of the golfers on the final day of play made it a captivating match.

If you were unfortunately not able to sit down on Sunday and watch the U.S. Open then hopefully you were out on the course. Maybe you couldn?t enjoy either situation. Next time, plan accordingly for a day filled with golf and cigars. Call the club house to schedule a t-time, visit?for cigars for you and your friends, and then customize them to celebrate your own U.S. Open at home or on the course.
